Meet the Founder
I started Serious Fun because I saw firsthand how powerful shared experiences can be. After years of planning and leading events, I wanted to create something different - experiences that are engaging, meaningful, and genuinely fun, while still delivering real outcomes for teams, schools, and organizations.
Over the course of my career, I’ve led more than 500 team building and special events for companies, schools, and organizations across the world. My background includes working with world-class destinations like Omni Amelia Island Resort, Ocean Reef Club, and the nationally recognized team building company Wildly Different, where I helped deliver high energy, professionally designed programs for groups of all sizes.
I also serve at my alma mater, Slippery Rock University, where I manage and execute a wide range of events that bring together alumni, donors, students, and the campus community. That experience has shaped my approach to event design - blending logistics, creativity, and meaningful engagement into every program.
Serious Fun is build on both professional expertise and personal values. I’m a proud family man - my wife Cassie and I stay busy raising our two children and our dogs - and that perspective influences everything I do. I believe events should feel welcoming, energizing, and authentic - the kind of experiences people actually talk about afterward.
